A rebozo is similar to a heavy duty sarong, and is often used during labor for pain relief, easy for the partner or doula to provide. A rebozo may also be used during pregnancy, skillfully wrapped for improve support and relieve common aches and pains associated with pregnancy.

TENS Unit Training
Utilizing the Gates theory of pain managment, the TENS unit applies electric stimulation controlled by the laboring parent to overload pain receptors with a distraction. This focal point can be used to reduce the effect of intense feeling from contractions.

Trained at Bastyr University Simkin Center through Evergreen Perinatal Education. I am certified to provide information and non-clinical assistance in supporting breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and alternative methods of infant feeding. All information is evidence based and non-directive.
